The Creative Place, a successful creative agency based in Watford, had been supplying the BBC with exhibition stand design, branding for BBC projects and graphics for public areas within BBC buildings and studios for 12 years, when their contract came to an end and they were required to re-tender. They knew that if they were not successful then there would be a large risk of losing the business that they had spent years nurturing.
They were given limited time to complete the BBC tender and immediately contacted Bidbetter asking for our help because we had successfully worked for them on previous bids. We spent some time with The Creative Place and developed a good understanding of their service offering, business and culture. We spent two days drafting their BBC response, which was then checked by their management team and submitted.
We are pleased to report that they won the contract again, safeguarding their incumbent business and gaining further exciting opportunities to supply the BBC with exhibition and display services, as well as being able to develop further projects with them under a contracting partnership. Most recently, they have been working away on all the large-scale graphics and exhibition stands for BBC’s Children in Need, which many of us witnessed last Friday night. A win win all round!
